Counselling (a form of talking therapy) provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns.
As a talking therapy, counselling is often experienced as a journey of self-discovery, where you can experience yourself, others around you, your past, present and future, in different and meaningful ways. The journey can be as long or as short as you want it to be.

Your therapy will take place during planned, regular sessions which last for around 50 minutes. I will not give you my opinion or advice or prescribe medication. Instead I will work with you to help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with your problems.
Taking the first step is often the hardest, if you would like to make an appointment with me, or just find out a bit more about how I can help you, please do get in touch. You can email me at [email protected] or call me on 07786 717783 when we can talk about your reasons for seeking counselling and make a plan to work together. Alternatively, you can send me a message through the contact form on the contact page.
I look forward to hearing from you.
